Nurturing Faith
At Cornerstone Community Church, we are dedicated to nurturing the faith of our congregation. Through engaging worship services, Bible studies, and prayer groups, we provide a supportive environment for spiritual growth. Our goal is to help individuals deepen their relationship with God and live out their faith in daily life.
Serving the Community
Serving is one of the core values at Cornerstone and we take the call of Jesus to serve one another very seriously. Jesus did not come to earth to be served, but to serve. We follow the example of Christ to serve our neighbors. From Christmas caroling, to reading in the garden, to partnering with local and global organizations, we are working to love our neighbors.
Global Missions
We a honored to be part of a global church, where the Gospel of the Kingdom of God is growing around the world. As a part of the Free Methodist Church, we particate with our brothers and sisters around the globe for the cause of Christ. Specifically, we support missionaries in Asia and Rwanda. Pastor Kurtis Koffkey
Kurtis has served in pastoral leadership here since 2013. He has continued to celebrate the transformation of lives through the power of Christ. He is passionate about training and equipping people in discipleship and leadership. He and his wife, Christine, have been married since 2009 and have three beautiful children: Kendall, Clara, and Kayden.
Christine Koffkey
Serving as First Lady at Cornerstone, Christine is pursuing ordination in the Free Methodist Church. You will usually find her "relaxing" in the garden, developing new ministry strategies, or cooking up something delicious in the kitchen, especially with her kids.
Ebony Dunigan
Ebony is our Missional Communities Director. She serves our volunteers & families with love and acceptance. Ebony is passionate about Holistic Health & Wellness. When not serving, you can find her curled up with a book, re-decorating a room that she decorated two months prior, or planning family activities. Ebony is a long time resident of Genesee County and shares three children with her husband Aaron.
Pastor Aaron Dunigan
Cornerstone Youth Group is lead by Aaron. He is passionate about helping students connect with Jesus. You can also find him working with Forge Flint Garage, doing a home improvement project, or spending time with his wife, Ebony, and their three children.
